Companies Postpone IPOs Amid Turbulent Market (08/11/99, 8:05 p.m. ET) By Reuters NEW YORK -- At least five companies have decided to sit out the recent market volatility and postpone their IPOs this week, signaling what could be a move toward a healthier IPO market.
