Hmm, I thought abortion was a symptom of society's illness, not a cause of it. Interesting theory.

--Conveniently they choose abortion which will never affect them as the reason for all of society's ills, as opposed to say, guns, or other matters which are equally responsible I believe--

Michelle. The problem with just making policy on the basis of how things appear is that it very rarely accomplishes the policy's desired effect. The welfare system was started because "something has to be done!" And it ended up crippling generations of folk. The social security system was started because "something has to be done!" Now many folk look upon it as an insurance policy, and it is used by politicians to pull the wool over the eyes of generations of Americans. Abortion was legalised because "something has to be done!" Now over a million children a year are murdered by their own mothers, some by the most brutal means ever conceived. People warned that these things would lead to problems much bigger than the problems they were designed to solved. They recognised the philosophical underpinnings of these "solutions" and saw their unintended consequences. These folk should have been the ones making policy, not some empty-headed liberal who is so willing to "do something," she will actually open her legs and allow some murderer to suck the brains out of her own child.

<<Ish we don't need to go through this again. >>

No ma'am we don't. I just can't equate Ted Bundy who raped and slowly tortured over 200 women to death with an infant who has committed the wrong of being conceived. You can so maybe I should see it your way, save some babies and let the Ted Bundies roam free to prey on you. They ain't gonna bother me.
