Checkout Steve Harmon's thoughts on YHOO....

Money Talk: What is the long-term outlook for Yahoo!, if AOL or AT&T buys up Excite?

Harmon: Yahoo! {YHOO} has done extremely well as a solo act. So far the Internet media space of the future probably needs more TV, radio, print cross promotion and that could mean Yahoo! moving into a deal with a traditional media firm. However, Yahoo! can play the future several ways and probably be successful on the business front.

On valuation, I cannot justify Yahoo! at these market cap levels until I see more tangible results from its acquisitions of Geocities and Broadcast.com-- they must equal more revenue and earnings for me to believe the story or say yippee for Yahoo!

Recall that I have been a believer in Yahoo! since the first day in April 1996 when it went public. I'll let Jerry Yang, Tim Koogle and Jeff Mallett renew my faith on the growth story by continuing their great execution...the next 3 or 4 quarters are crucial in my view.

Regards,
