response to WAY OT.... regis, didn't mean to start a debate. just stating even the ignorant have the right to state their views (which means we get to forage through a lot of junk before finding any pearls of wisdom). oh, and regarding "The American colonials incorporated this 'democratic' view from the Penobscot Indians into what became our constitution & declaration of independence." historically accurate, but remember, the Constitution was not based on democracy but on a republic.
