David,

Last Friday, there were 66,526 open IOM Aug 7.5 PUT contracts. The vast majority were created on August 2nd in a huge transaction.
Today, there are 758 open IOM Aug 7.5 PUT Contracts.

That's 65,000+ contracts that 'closed'. Now, how did they 'close'?
Were they bought back by the sellers, or were they exercised out of existence? I don't know, I don't think there is an easy way to find out either.

But, as a result of that $7.5 PUT activity over the past four trading days, and this morning's 16750 Aug 5 PUT transaction, the Max-Pain Pointâ„¢ has moved down from $7.5 to settle in at $5.

Don't know what's going on, but it's big bucks.

Ben A.

Someone wanted out of the $7.5's and into the $5's.....
