I still think you are being overly optimistic, but I wouldn't complain. My year end target remains in the 80's (as it has since January). If it finishes higher, that would be great. At this point, I think INTC and many other semi's have probably gotten a bit ahead of themselves (some like MU are absurdly overvalued). Of course, this doesn't mean I would sell INTC. I'm not in the habit of trying to time the market with my core holdings.

Re: 4th quarter runnup

Hopefully, history will repeat it with respect to a late Q4 run-up. Hopefully, history will NOT repeat itself with respect to a lousy October <gg>.

At any rate, INTC's recent strength has been impressive and long overdue. INTC was a steal when it was recently in the 50's.
