I don't know about the FED. That's what I have been worried about for quite some time. And a weaker dollar. So far so good.

My opinion: The Fed is not worried about inflation (now), it is worried about inflation (excess demand over supply) when the job market can no long er support the growth in the economy and productivity increases don't keep pace. The fed is guaging this problem with the rise of the stock market (the wealth effect) which keeps demand high and supply out of balance.
