Brad, it's not a "shortage", but you can no longer ring up a service company and say send over 50 joints of 2" tubing and expect to receive it immediately...

One thing that has happened in the severe turndown is that the large service companies have bought out numerous smaller service companies-boy! just look at Parker or Nabors or a buy-a-day WFT.

These larger companies have much better control of inventory including tubing, so you won't find any excess product/material sitting around in these service companies' yards.... perhaps some pricing strength here?
