I thought money could be made - and I thought on a board that deals with investments, and trading, this was not terribly "off topic" (especially ironic since it dealt with linux). After all I wasn't posting about guns and ammo. And when discussing trading, which is of interest not just to me but to others, I sometimes use personal examples - which is hard to avoid. I don't think I give undue details of my trading profits/losses (and BTW, when I lost, I did announce it - as an example). I didn't think these discussions had anything to do with "ego" etc. Whatever, judge as you see fit - I really couldn't care less. There are a few individuals here whose posts I value, the rest I skip. You can do the same with my posts - skip. Instead you take it upon yourself to upbraid me for off topic posts - which incidentally are not the fraction "off topic" in nature compared to so many - point out to me the posts where I initiate non-investment, non-trading related posts (I am not counting responding to attacks, such as yours). I really didn't think I was a "frequent offender" in the OT department - but there you are, jumping down my throat.
