Shorts will cover if one of two things happens: 1) Big news hits the wires and is confirmed. 2) The majority of the I-nets start to rally big time for at least 2 consecutive days (showing 10-20 point gains like the olden days). Shorts are not as nervous as you would think right now. Don't forget most shorts got in @ the $50-$60 level. The market is still going to make large swings both to the up and down sides with downward pressure prevailing for the next month or two. Personally I would not take a chance shorting ATHM at these levels, but everyone has their own strategy. Ron Dior
