I have followed this thread since its inception, and well before in its earlier incarnation. And I admire your thread and your stated guidelines to maintain a reasonable level of discourse:

1) Keep gut feels to a minimum. Always try to provide analysis with your expectations / predictions.

7) All discussion should be conducted in a cordial and respectful manner.

In the last few weeks several posters have been admonished by you and others for posting "opinions" or "gut feelings" which they should have justified by some type of analysis. I say fine.

But let's be consistent. There is one frequent poster to this thread that feels he/she has carte blanche to spew condescending opinion, vitriol, and animus which is somehow mistaken for "fact" or "analysis." To wit, recently:

"James CNBC are the promoters of all the Snake Oil sellers. How much advertising income they have from you?? On the other hand the Snakes are paying them plenty.
Just wonder if some one will get up and start a class action against GE regarding CNBC misleading promotion. Actually I wish some one will nail them down"

"They are a bunch of irresponsible stock promoters especially the Air Heads."

"Ted David please take notice and report to the empty heads running CNBC and NBC."

"BTW they should trow Maria to the dogs she has no place in financial reporting."

Now, I ask, can this hyperbole be in any rational way construed as "analysis" or thoughtful insight?
