Of course, I don't take this posting as a slap. Nor do I have any interest in pinning you--or anyone else--like a butterfly to a specimen board. If I seem to play both in flirting and intellectually, it is simply because, like so many people, I am a person of more than one dimension. What makes you so sure that you and I inhabit such different spheres? So many of the people on this thread and on others have wildly disparate personalities, yet we find common grounds and can enjoy one another. I do agree that far too much time and energy have been devoted to CH's and my flirting. As I am saying for the umpteenth time, we meant no harm or offense and we both knew that we were merely playing to defuse an argument that had gone too far. BTW, your observation on global warming: The recent tiff about Global Warming. Both sides relied on Expertise. I view it as a condition to which we are contributing, but in no way controlling. And about which we have relatively little control, despite who might win the yea or nay argument. I find myself in agreement, which is one of the reasons I stayed away from it for the most part.
