The power of real competition..

Competition for 20000 lb gorilla is.. to corner a rival and whisper in the rival's ear.. give up or else..

So MSFT went all out against AOL on instant messaging..AOL after buying NSCP could have tried to develop directory tools in house. These tools are essential for them to improve their services. This is in fact a matter of life and death for them..By going with NOVL they 've essentially left MSFT without alternatives but to develop active directories...hehe!

End of game. AOL and NOVL win.

More MSFT heads will roll..

Cheers!

Victor

Thanks Victor! You were an early bird this day. A big smile came across my face at 7:00 am when I heard this deal on CNBC! It's what I have been anticipating between AOL and NOVL the past 6-8 months. Interesting that it was only set up a few months ago, but thats probably because the pieces (software) had to be ready to go. Collaboration, cooperation, and maybe a little cohabitation! Hopefully this is just the beginning of many more fruitful NOVL deals with ISP's, telecoms, and internet businesses. GO!! Regards, QuadK
