I was just saying I need to be able to tell my TV what to do as I am always misplacing my remote. Any hope for this to happen?

I don't think these guys are worried about what happens here below. Their ultimate future is assured. Meantime, maybe they know a good Costa Rican plastic surgeon..

Guess this technology isn't quite what I thought from reading SEC Filing.

Just looking at company now.
Is this company the same one referred to here and if so what has developed since May? Has L&H acquired this technology and if so what is/was the purchase price and what remains of FONX? ANy answers will be appreciated.

n May, L&H signed an agreement to acquire substantially all the assets of the Fonix Healthcare Solutions Group (Articulate Systems) (NASDAQ:
FONX). L&H expects to leverage the resources obtained through this acquisition to further the company's development of transcription solutions and
strengthen its position as the leading provider of speech and language technology for the healthcare market. The agreement will add the award-winning
PowerScribe(r) Radiology and Emergency Medicine systems to L&H's Industry Solutions Group. L&H will also gain the Fonix Healthcare Solutions
Group's blue-chip customer base as well as its sales, marketing, client services and development staff. L&H expects to combine PowerScribe and the L&H
Clinical Reporter and apply its localization expertise to create multi-lingual product versions that address the needs of the total healthcare enterprise,
worldwide. The closing is subject to Fonix shareholder approval.

Craig,
This is great---finally a lot of solid information about the co.
I will sit down with a cup of Java and read it all. It printed out to 15 pages. Thanks!
Nancy

The reason what's already on the market is inferior, is that it "falls short of human performance", and Fonx has a higher standard, the ASRT, which does not limit the user, and is much more natural to the human auditory system... In other words, it goes beyond the Model T, folks, which is on the market now. (For details, see the report). With it you will be talking to machines, and handwriting to them without a keyboard, and they will perform. (Hal is almost here.) Will they be talking back to us? The report didn't say, but ultimately, there will be a "suite of Fonix-branded technologies and products" in these areas: electronics, telephony, computers, entertainment, automotive, and I'd say you name it.
