john: Couldn't have said it better myself! You hit the nail right on the head, and pointed out what I have been thinking for a while, but being so impressed with the technical knowledge I ignored the obvious bias. I, too, found the prolific apologies somewhat overdone. Well, we all have the right to post, but I think we need to be careful about looking to motives, although sometimes not advertised. I also think we will get flamed big time now!!! Well, I have broad shoulders!! Good luck to all!! I hope Morgan continues to post, I respect his opinions and there is room for all here, but I do think this is overdone.
Since retail sales is up so big this am, none of this may matter in the short term. Markets could be headed down!!

JDM, good post. Would you please though explain why you use the term "emotional diatribes" when asking Morgan to refrain. Aren't all of us who invest and who post anywhere subject to our emotions? I just factor in the fact that we are all human and therefore our decision making and our writings are affected by that. You bring out some good points about the company, though.

I couldn't disagree with you more. Morgan has always been up front about his trading. Yes, he daytrades, swingtrades, and "invests long term". But, he's always come off as very straightfoward in the fact that he has a long term position in NITE as well as his ability to successfully short other shares. If you ask me, his calls couldn't have been more accurate, "right up until the time of the buy-back cancellation" that none of us knew about. That's when he started throwing his hands in the air.
Boy, some of us have some pretty short memories, but in the long term, I certainly won't quickly forget what Pasternak conveniently, no less profitably, forgot to tell us. "Have you forgotten that we are owners in this company?" I'd be real interested in your response.

John David....Morgan is a guy of immense TA knowledge; as to whether he is a "stealth short", I don't know. However, he does seem to change his mind on a regular basis. His issue with the share buyback seemed to be a tempest in a teacup, though...
