Ike,

I have two pay services....Qcharts is the best source for the money...they have several pay options. You can watch/chart options/futures/equities/indexes...just pay the exchange fees and you've got it.

I also have DBC eSignal....it costs more for options and has limitations Qcharts doesn't

You can use the Island book for equities....it's free and realtime...I don't use Level 2 so this is as good to me...
isld.com

maybe this will help get option quotes

Dear Cousin Ike ...

On the free area of Quote Com (live charts) there are actually two ways to obtain a very close approximation to the real SP9U trading price ...

one method is to enter ES9U .. this gets the emini which follows the spoo nicely ..... the main flaw is that while the spoo is priced in tenths, the emini is priced in quarters, so this does make for a less than exact mirror...

another method is to enter the symbols SPX.X +prem (please note the space between the X and the plus sign and no space between the plus and the prem) .... this will obtain a close mirror image to the trading price of SP9U

I think the confusion is that Mr. Latif trades options on futures. At most discount brokerages (etrade, schwab, brownco, etc.) you cannot trade futures or options on futures. See a futures broker like www.lind-waldock.com. Since entering symbols on options (for futures and equities) varies by broker and quote service, you need to check w/ your own. At mytrack, for example, SPU Aug 1300 Puts is quoted as "SP`U X5".
