His concern are correct. Near term he put a hold on DELL long term a buy, very prudent in my mind. The upcoming earning release will determine if DELL has adapted and will set the stage for DELL's stock movement for the rest if the year. Once the earnings are release he can change his mind, if DELL does in fact show that they have adapted. When I came out a said that DELL was dead money a few months back, I said at the time that they would have to grow into their PE. I feel by now they will have shown that they can continue to grow in the 40 to 50% range, while keeping margins steady as the move up the enterprise chain with their server biz. As an added and unknown factor that will contribute the a change in sentiment toward DELL is their move to diversify which will be more apparent in this earnings the the last. While I do not expect to see the same kind of mood change that GTW got, DELL will show that they have adapted. Much more needs to be done, and I confident that DELL is up to the task, that's why I still own shares in DELL.
