I frankly don't care how much cocaine and alcohol GWB has consumed in his life, or whether he lied in that affidavit. As a politician, I'll presume he's also a liar. What matters to me is that he has no credentials to be President, unlike his father who was groomed for the job. Gen. Powell is far more qualified--he's been an administrator and made tough decisions, and he clearly has front line experience on the world stage. Can't he be persuaded to run in place of these weak sisters?

Thats fine DCF, I don't have any issues with you or truedog... or really anybody else here. I have had an ongoing dispute with JLA for months, it was not just me actually - there were a few others involved who I haven't seen lately (Lorrie, Dan who was suspended etc). Last time the lot of us just let this go on and on, to the point where the entire thread degraded into constant attacking for strings of 25+ posts. Finally a few people reported it to SI and during that time, I was informed that if we ever go down that path again to please put an end to it right away which is what I am trying to do. I am not saying I was never at fault, however, these days I rarely incite this stuff. I don't think my post (which was not directed at JLA) was in any way deserving of yet another personal slam by him. He disagrees with me, thats ok, but lets try to be civil. Thanks
