Well, whatever the mysterious "something" that the company declines to tell the general public about may be, it isn't GRAS approval.

Today the FDA finally updated its inventory page. As of 5 August, AZNT hadn't even applied.

The rumor I'm now hearing is: yesterday and today the stock moved because management is telling people the judge is about to rule in favor of AZNT in the Mann case, and that there'll be a monetary settlement.

Of course they've been saying this for quite some time now--Pugs and Kuhns certainly have--but I guess they've stepped up their efforts.

Strange, isn't it? I've never heard of a judge communicating his decision to only one party in a lawsuit in advance of announcing it publicly. And I'm also sure that George is aware of the potential for unseemly (and illegal) market manipulation should such information be communicated and subsequently leaked.

And of course even if it's true, a monetary settlement means no short squeeze.
