You know me and what I look for and its not always fundamentals. The fundies just plain suck. EXAMPLE Tonight at dinner I learn that one of the "6 core banks" to be formed in Malaysia is Southern Bank. This is one of the micro banks now operating here. While profitable and unhurt by the NPL issue, this bank is a gnat on an elephant. Turns out that Diam (Finance Minister) has just received a LARGE chunk of shares through a proxy. Hmmmmmm wonder why Bank Negara picked this puny bank to be a Commercial money bank, consumer bank and finance company? (BTW This from a bank insider!) Like I said in an earlier post, I won't even think of it until it goes to 7+, this is a total house of cards period.!!!!!
