NTCT IPO today may have been lowered in price range, but it sure looks good on paper. revenue of 60 million last year, 10 million in profits (yes, profits). Small 3 million offering... be interesting if it can stay above the pricing. Send out the search party! NetScout Systems makes software for tracking applications throughout a network. Its software supports switched LANs, frame relays, and Ethernet systems and enables users to analyze, manage, and troubleshoot trends and problems in network traffic. NetScout Manager Plus generates reports for capacity planning, policy administration, and security audits. NetScout Server works with NetScout Manager Plus to manage remote sites. NetScout sells directly and through distributors, OEMs, and VARs. Customers include 3M, AT&T, and Toys "R" Us. Co-founders Anil Singhal (CEO) and Narendra Popat (COO) each own 20% of NetScout. Sorry to "spam" you guys, but you ran EGEO in mid august when they got a bank bridge loan. My understanding from over at the Yahooligan thread is that there may be some action on this one this week. I believe they have to make a 5 million dollar pmt. Also, there is talk of potential buyout by VTS. As always, do your own DD, but I am writing this to see if anyone out there knows more about this than I. FYI I am long about 2K shares, but got in around a buck. Thanks for any info, CPS
