Gary do you remember fore systems in 1994? Could this be another case like that? For those that don't recall fore was a leader in ATM(?) technology and rose against a terrible mkt all year, completely slaughtering shorts only to decline miserably in 1995. I also think there is more pain for shorts here ... jnpr will likely split their stock which doesn't have much affect these days with all the inventory out there but in this case, a split will cause jnpr to rise.
