(PR Wires) PRW: American Millennium Completes Testing for Cross Timbers
PRW: American Millennium Completes Testing for Cross Timbers Oil Co.

MOUNT DORA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 1999--American Millennium
Corporation, Inc. (AMCI) (Nasdaq OTC:AMCI) announced today that it has
successfully completed testing of its satellite communication equipment for
remote monitoring of natural gas compressors for Fort Worth, Texas based
Cross Timbers Oil Co. (NYSE:XTO).
AMCI Executive Vice President Stephen Watwood confirmed, "The three month
long field test has been completed with near flawless results. A single
SAM(TM) system (Satellite Alarm Module) has been monitoring the running
condition of 3 gas compressors at a test site near Ozona, Texas. Cross
Timbers has placed an initial order for 4 SAM(TM) systems for deployment
into the field for day to day operation."
The first of these 4 systems has already been installed and is currently
operating onsite in Oklahoma. Two more units will be shipped to compressor
manufacture Screw Compressor Systems (SCS) in Tulsa to be installed under
AMCI's supervision. SCS will then install any future SAM(TM) systems for
Cross Timbers directly at the SCS plant. The 4th SAM(TM) system installation
will be a retro fit on an older compressor system in Arkansas. This will
most likely be a totally self-contained solar powered package, according to
Watwood.
AMCI President and CEO Andrew F. Cauthen stated, "Our business focus is
ongoing revenue from monthly data-flow fees. The ability of a single SAM(TM)
unit to handle data flow from three separate compressors at one site is a
real savings in hardware cost for our customers. Reducing hardware and
installation costs will enhance our ability to capture a large segment of
the potential business within this industry."
AMCI is a licensed value-added reseller for ORBCOMM USA, L.P. that provides
two-way monitoring, tracking, and messaging service through the world's
first low-earth orbit satellite based data communications system. ORBCOMM is
a partnership owned by Orbital Sciences Corporation (NYSE:ORB) and
Teleglobe, Inc. of Canada, (NYSE:TSE).

This press release contains forward-looking statements that involve risk and
uncertainties that could cause the company's actual results and experience
to differ materially from anticipated results and expectations expressed
herein. In particular, AMCI's plans may be revised, and its actual results
may differ materially from that indicated by its current plans. The AMCI
