Chip, Sofa,

I certainly have no issue with AG and have more faith in what can be learned from the past than be learned from our dreams for the future.

I am wondering, however, what effect "disintermediation" will have on the next few years. "Disintermediation" was the buzzword for the effect the web would have on the world.

This year likely will be the first in which the growth in web based retail sales will exceed the growth in retail sales. Should this trend continue we would enter the age where even in a growing environment a large segment of the US economy is in decline. Up until this point the web has been good news for just about all. This is changing.

Regards,
Lee

SofaSpud,

investech.com

Interesting chart?

Well Greenspan is still in control but getting older.
Whoever replaces him will have to deal with this emerging economy.

"Whatever it Is?"
