Jim P.....I do not know the temperatures involved but methanol is simplest form of fuel to reform for hydrogen. I was told on another thread that natural gas is even more difficult than methanol to reform......that surprised me. The Direct methanol fuel cell or DMFC is for PEMFC. There is so much info....good and bad....coming from so many stock boards....I don't know what to think.:) ...The MKTY cell is said to be very resistant to CO which makes reforming gasoline much simpler......but then again the gasoline has to be 0% sulphur content.
I found on the GLE website that their cell requires 10ppm max. sulphur content. Added cost for removing sulphur for all fuel cells????...Sometimes to much info. for me.:).....raisin
