express servers to not work properly till now. Costing dearly if not open a classic server on another place.

General Complaint/Comment/Question:

Why does Datek fail to use BUY or SELL as the ONLY
options available to us when we place an order? This failure to program in an 'either/or' is really sloppy!

Why we are allowed to choose 'select one' as an entry option really begs an answer.

At one time 'idiot proofing'; or as it is now called by some 'intelligent application coding' would have prevented this. As per the following:

If entry # "buy" or if entry # "sell" then RETURN (to input area). Could it be that the entire order entry line has to be pharsed before the order is transmitted? That still doesn't preclude the check for 'buy' / 'sell' before going 'all the way'.

Actually; why do we have to 'select one'? Why cannot the screen display BUY/SELL and allow us to click on our choice?

The field size or column heading length for 'select one' is 10 digits in length. BUY/SELL takes up only a field length of 8 digits. Where is the use of screen logic?

I can live with this; but it is silly!!

Yes, I do make mistakes. Hope you read this DATEK.
