They aint covering cus only a few hundred k sold so far - They would only want to spend $5k each if they thought that they could get the SMMprice well up over 55 to make it worth their while.

Reference is made to Toronto Stock Exchange Daily Record Bulletin 99-0936
dated July 29, 1999 (see Stockwatch July 27, 1999). Holders of common shares
of record as of the close of business on Aug. 5, 1999, will be granted the right to
subscribe for one additional common share for every five common shares held at a
subscription price of 50 cents per share. The rights will expire at 4:30 p.m. (ET)
on Aug. 27, 1999, and will be delisted at the close.
The following trading and settlement rules will apply:
1.
All trades on Aug. 24, 1999, will be for special settlement on Aug. 26, 1999.
These trades will appear on the CDS Settlement Report and will be recorded
with a settlement date of Aug. 26, 1999.
2.
All trades on Aug. 25, and Aug. 26, 1999, will trade for cash settlement the
following business day and selling members must have the rights that are being
sold in their possession or owed to them through clearing, prior to such sale.
Trades on Aug. 27, 1999, from the opening to 12 p.m., will be for same day
cash settlement.
3.
Should fail positions exist on the expiry date, purchasing members have the
option of paying for the rights purchased and demanding delivery of the
securities into which the rights are exercisable. Such demand shall be made
before 2 p.m. on the expiry date of Aug. 27, 1999.
