Dorine, You probably meant to say Steve Fortuna is trying to make a name for himself. Milunovich is already well-known.

Way OT: Well the big day has arrived... Our second adoption placement will take place tonight at 10:45pm mnt. time. Our new baby girl Mariah Eileen will be coming home for good. This makes 2 babies in the house under 14 mo. Any spare hands out there?

Re: " -In a research note, Fortuna also said he assumed coverage from Merrill analyst Steve Milunovich of Dell Computer Corp. (Nasdaq:DELL - news) with a neutral rating, a downgrade from the prior accumulate rating."

The poiint is; logically wouldn't it be a much more clearer and complete statement after Dell's earnings release? I mean if you were an honest non-manipulative "researcher" why wouldn't you want to wait until more conclusive decisive proof from the horse's mouth so-to-speek before releasing your incomplete research notes?

I agree with Frank's logic Merryl was just too timely as Dell was about to make a pre-earnings run up with their down grade.

Frank I think your viewing and observing reality while other's are looking and waiting for the way they want things to be, concerning Dell's stock price that is!

Dorrine It looks like too many are trying to make names for themselves these days and it is interfering with normal business. For the sake of the dollar there seems to be less decency and justice anymore.
Nobody cares who gets hurt. Sad so sad. one might think that can take it with them.
