OUTPACERS: I agree with much more of that post. What I am seeing now is this. . .many
traders have had their eyes on transportation and financials. . . and after several hours
went by this AM and there was no major sell-off of those, I believe that some
confidence came back in.

Now keep in mind that these are not the big money investors, but big enough to move
the market. So we are not seeing super volume, but when looking through sector lists,
you can see that certain issues are getting the straw pole vote of approval.

Here is a list of those I have uncovered so far. . .these are outpacing the rest of the
market. . often both in volume and in price. . .many familiar names are included:

Internet Portals: ATHM, ABOV, CNET, LCOS, SEEK,
Support: SEBL, BRCM,
Retail/ ECommerce: ABTL, LQID, WMT, TURF
Internet Advertisers [my favorite sector this year] FCST, MMPT, DCLK, TFSM,
NETP,
Brokerage: EGRP, LEH, MER, NDB, SCH, TWE, SIEB, NITE
Inet Security: VRSN
Broadband: MIPS, ADAP, ARTT, DMIC, MPTH, ADBL
Bio-tech: MEDI, PDLI, AMGN
Staffing/Support: CKFR, KEA
Telecom: NXTL
