Robert - It's strange that you've chosen to continue attacking me, as you did on the KOOP thread, when a few posts ago on this thread you seemed to be agreeing with virtually everything I've been saying all along:

Message 10915083

My basic point is, and has always been, that without a source of revenues other than advertisers, any company that does nothing but offer health information and services is doomed to failure. I've already gone through the arguments every which way and won't do that again here, since if anyone cares he can click on my name and find them easily enough. I don't disagree that Healtheon or someone else might see value in MCNS despite a lack of significant revenues, and if you reread my last post you'll see that I specifically said that I'd not seen their business plan and do not know whether they expect to have revenue streams other than advertising. So what's your problem? If they do have those other revenue streams, tell me what they are. If you want to say that MCNS's approach to providing information is better than someone else's and that they might become a takeover candidate, feel free.

And you claim to not understand my "motive," notwithstanding that I made very clear on the KOOP and HLTH threads where my interests and allegiances lie. If I were required to state a justification for posting here, which I am not, I would inform you that I am an attorney who represents medical groups, HMOs and other types of health-care entities, and have done extensive research in these areas both for professional and personal reasons. More significantly, I am a longtime investor in StayHealthy.com, which has a newly designed website offering health information but which will derive massive revenues from other services and products, paid for directly by the public. And it's not garden variety e-commerce, either: you can either look up their 4/28 Business Wire release for a hint, or simply watch for the next couple of weeks for other press releases, which should make clear why I look so scornfully upon all the money-losing advertising-driven "information" sites.

Most importantly, you should note that it would make me very happy were the current state of overvaluation of Internet health companies to continue, because I expect that StayHealthy.com will file its IPO Registration Statement before the end of this year.
