Here we see the peanut vendor trying to earn a few hundred bucks. This is the quintessence of poor and why the public will pass laws to prevent this kind of gambling. The only reason is that the public is so poor in spirit that they have to wildly gamble themselves to ruin. There is no other way to prevent the addiction except to illegalize it. Now you know why the stock market ran up in the '20s and why the public passed all those laws in the '30s. They've been suspended so that the public can have another drug party. Can you believe the peanut vendor is in his '50s?
