anonomous quote re the Pioneer's preference, Nextwave, and the FCC:

Are you getting the picture? Some FCC members (i.e. Kenard) hate Irwin and Allen Salmasi, but the real power is on their side (it's called CDMA and the money behind it to make it a reality and improve our lives). We know how government and the legal system works.....for now I'll just say $$$$$$. In QCOM and NEXTWAVE's case the FCC, like the anti-trust against Gates, are just a bunch of useless appointees that try to extort money through lobbying firms like the rest of the whores in DC. But you still can't stop technological progress and fairness under the laws of the land from winning out unless you have enough power to invoke corruption, kinda like Janet Reno covering up the screwups in the Justice Department.

All is well in Mudville, the FCC has struck out......

The courts are making fair, honest, legal decisions, so don't let the noise of Nextel skew the big picture.
