Happy_girl - thanks for your message. It seems to me that RHAT is being touted as an "internet infrastructure" play, and is being lumped together with JNPR and CMTN (two companies I know nothing about) - and it seems that the internet infrastructure plays have taken over from the pure internet plays in the focus their IPO's are receiving from investors (people seem to be saying this is the next wave).

But I would like to clarify one point to which you allude in your message. Microsoft Windows and Windows NT sales have seen incredible growth over the past five years - and their sales continue to grow. And in truth, over the past five years, Windows NT has taken more and more market share away from Unix - it happens every year (and I believe that the Market share growth of NT continues to grow). It may be true that UNIX may be doing better than NT on "internet" servers - but if you count all corporate servers, NT's market share is growing. Of course, - the server market share growth of NT could stall at any time.

But again, with regard to RHAT, the issue is more the stock price than the company itself - and now that I have written all this, the stock will probably shoot to 200 tomorrow and I'll have egg all over my face. Anyway, if you buy RHAT, I wish you the best with it.

Thanks,
-Eric
