joana I asked my merrill guy about the fixed fee setup about a year ago and it still seemed pretty high...you can get the same personal service from fidelity psa or schwab for much less

What upsets me the most about it is that they didn't inform me of their "error" until the next day. By then, it was trading at 79, which is 8 points above where my buy executed. If they could have told me of the error immediately after it happened, I wouldn't be half as upset.

I'm still waiting for them to make this right. I'll let you know.
