Happy_girl - we obviously have different views on the success of NT. A Microsoft exec definitely has a bias - but he was citing stats about market share growth, stats that I believe he would not cite were they not true (if you have other sources of stats of server operating system market share, I would love to see them - they're difficult to come by). I can name dozens of fortune 500 firms that are using NT - but such information is anecdotal and doesn't paint the real picture regarding market share growth.

Anyway - we have different views. I don't feel Red Hat has a strong chance of taking much market share away from NT - or UNIX for that matter. But again, I wish you the best of luck if you buy RHAT.

Thanks,
-Eric
