I prefer juniors with no debt, cash and a metal one or two deposits that are being developed to production.

BTW can you define what is a quality senior for you. Should it be hedged or not ? What kind of balance sheet are you looking for ?

Well, I don't know how you come upon this "do not become a long term holder" idea. I'm in money on HM, and have not traded it. Maybe more important to pick entry point well.
Speaking of the payoff, the dividend is better than many high tech issues these days.
