Exactly, Denise! This shows they're executing what they said they were starting on on their roadmap, building the base they require to offer a unique and very valuable service.

XML is, indeed, 'the' hot button these days. In the same way that HTML is a page description language, XML is a data description language, if you will: it defines the elements of data in a standardized manner (see below). It is touted as *the* way we'll finally get universal data flow between applications/business partners, where now if you want to send me data from your business we can't just pass it from your business application (ERP, for example) to mine unless we happen to run the same one.

It will require that the W3 standardization process completes in a useable time frame, and/or some agreement on standards within vertical industries for specialized uses, but it is already being employed and IMHO has great potential.

I look forward to seeing what else NSI has tucked up their sleeve; they appear to have a very strong strategic vision of where they're headed.
