Hi Jan,

so you like acrylic and mixed medium, is mixed medium where you use different paints, as well as bits of string, fragments of glass and all manner of substance in creating the art?

That sounds very sad that you have not painted in over 5 years since your Mom passed.

Ist sounds like you built a really neat doll house and you both got really creative in building it. :)

the Gnome room sounds cool. I like Gnomes, I loved the story at saw on the NYC News when I was living up in the NY
area in the late 1980's- early 1990's.

A family that had a couple of Gnomes out in their front yard, one day found the pair missing for several weeks they wondered what happened and assumed that some one walked off with them and they wrote them off as gone. This was in June.

At the end of August, one morning the pair of foot high gnomes where miraculously back at the house complete with a photo album. In the album where pictures of the Gnomes summer trip. It appeared that the intrepid little Gnomes had been on a cross country spree that included a trip to the Great Arch in ST. Louis, Wrigley field in Chicago,
they also visited the Grand Canyon. They even made it as far as San Francisco where there was another picture of them, with the Golden Gate Bridge in the Background.

The pictures and the story where so outlandish and funny that they made the 11 pm NBC news in New York City.

I have done some painting and would like to do some more, I like to work with dark and moody colors sometimes. Dark Purples and Greys and midnight green etc.

It sounds like you and your necklace making friend are having a grand time being venture capitalists. -g-

I sure under your studied tutelage, she will be a budding entrepreneur, a savvy stock market investor and a scholar and a gentlewoman -g-

You did a great job of answering my question. :-)

Keep up the industrious work

and my very best wishes,

John
