pae, I doubt that the funny business you suggest is going on on QQQ.

SPY is the only UIT with significant volume. And even that pales in comparison to the futures market. There's no way that any manipulation of the UITs would have any significant effect on the market.

As a comparison, if the futures markets are Wal-Mart, the QQQ is a local five-and-dime in Podunk. Manipulate the five-and-dime in Podunk, and you aren't going to control the shoelace market, no matter how hard you try. :)
