Hi Ken,

Only two major MMDS companies have reorganized under Chapter 11: CAI and Heartland. All others (ATEL, PCTV, CS, WIRL, TTIW) were on the verge of a reorg and, luckily for the common shareholders, were saved by Sprint and MCI.

NCNX was formerly Heartland (HART -- not WIRL). The secondary offering tells me that NCNX has been unable to reach an agreement with neither Sprint nor MCI, and is going forward on its own. After the secondary, I would look for some stealth buying on the bonds and equity (when the price drops below $10) by Sprint and/or MCI. I don't know about Wayland, but maybe they also own some of the bonds as insurance?

Re the possibility of meeting market demand, I seriously doubt it. Experience tells me that any company with such a lousy and questionable track record will eventually end up in the gutter (again).
