It would be interesting to note if anyone modified their stock holdings because of the contest.

When this thing started I reviewed all the choices and re-read the the last quarterly report of each of the companies selected. As a result I added MTSN to my portfolio.

These threads have endless debates about the superiority of any given technology and base stock buying decisions upon them.

I'm just not that smart. I thought that the florescent tube would replace the laser because replacement bulbs could be purchased at WalMart instead of paying Cymer's exorbitant prices.

Long term CYMER will outperform most of the selections on the list, but short term (less than a year) I'd stock up on MTSN, ETEC, and PHTN. A strong order book beats darn near anything else. Not very sophisticated I realize, but then most things in life should be simple.
