My understanding from the news release before this one is
that DVID HAD!!! to be trading @ at least $1 by 8/16/99 and
remain so for 10 days to avoid delisting. We didn't despite
the good last minute developments. The reverse split is
already authorized & "in place" for an announcement on
Monday. We are all screwed (especially warrant holders).

From past experience reverse splits can be great net day as the out of the gate price is very low due to the general neg feelings that a reverse spit generates. Which is the same group that cheers for normal splits. Neither have any actual effect on ownership %. I expect the warrants to remain, but as fractionals based on the rev-split % used. This would also be a good time to have the warrants upgraded by keeping them on a 1 to 1 for the new shares. Warrants do little good to a company until they can be called and generate an equity investment. I look at the reverse as an opportunity.
