I found that announcement about IBM fascinating, especially considering IBM's history with their own CRM initiative. First they bought Software Artistry. Then they created a wholly-owned subsidiary (with its own independent board) built around SA. Less than a year later they shut down the subsidiary and rolled the initiative into their e-business unit.

Now IBM is selling Siebel's products. Doesn't say much for their own product does it?
