Gee, Jim my pet, remind me to quote this bit of wisdom to your wife next time she and I have lunch.

James, have you ever considered how abnormal it is for a man to get married and stay with one woman for a lifetime? I mean, it is a very artificial situation. It is irrational, actually, and not even civilized. Multiple wives, concubines, mistresses and "test wives" make very good sense!

You know, I have often wondered what happens to a man who comes to the U.S. from another culture and has, say, five wives? Does the government make him divorce four of them? If they do, why? It is violating his privacy and liberty. As a matter of fact, what right does the State have in telling any man that he can't have multiple wives, or any woman that she cannot have multiple husbands?

[I think I just found a new cause!]
