Yeah. I was dead wrong about that one. What irks me is that my (good0 experience with Costco (and tangentially with Best Buy) should have given me bigger clues.

Maybe well get some sort of miracle and CPU will announce that it is pulling the same store-closing stunt as EGGS. TokyoMex will issue a strong buy rec. and all the EGGS suckers will pile in....giving us a chance to get out of CPU and making even more money by shorting it.

Sometimes its better to look through the world through rose-colored glasses (or SPD goggles).

I don't think CPU will drop sharply considering their cash position and the possibility of a takeover. Their loss in the last quarter was greater than I was expecting. To me it seems better attuned (and different) management is in order. I may go long on takeover speculation between $5-cash/sh, roughly $2.50/sh, with little more downside considering the cash. With price/sales of less than 0.1 in other hands there could be some major appreciation with a price equivalent to parity with sales.
