What observations are you making that think we are having liquidity problems? In my opinion the system seems to be working, and it looks to me like the potential buyers want to buy at lower prices; or creditors are willing to make loans at higher rates.

I agree that a hefty pull back in equities will probably be the best thing in the long run for stocks... but still, a bee line to DOW 14K would have been great fun in the meantime.....<g>

I don't know if the poster is right or wrong.. that's not where I'm coming from... Just that the post itself was thought provoking and offered an interesting take on the status of market direction and today's economic climate... I thought it was great reading, whether it was fiction or non-fiction was not the issue with me.....
