Ike, i wouldn't worry too much...they may consolidate a bit, but i think there's still more upside. a slow, barely perceptible shift is underway in the gold market. this is evidenced by recent upgrades of the gold miners by MER and GS, the shooting up of the lease rates and the concomitant shrinking of the contango. then there are rumors of GS taking control of bullion in NYMEX warehouses and producers buying back hedges, as well as some well known hedge funds which are short gold experiencing problems. the backdrop of the lowest bullish consensus figures for a decade and a sliding buck don't hurt either...
give it time, patience will be rewarded, most likely.
