Institutions ARE HARD DOGS TO KEEP ON THE PORCH, as the First Lady might say.

Scott re: according to the report put out by our 'friends' at ML today, only 32.5% of DELL's stock is currently owned by institutions.

Thanks for the info. Is there a good site that has current information on total institutional ownership? The sites I have seen are always out of date or have no information on how current the info is. With Dell up today, institutional trading fell from 18 to 9 million shares (computed using my error prone math skills). My guess is they were still selling today. If this keeps up, October will not have a down turn from institutions dressing up their portfolios.

I may need to be institutionalized if I keep up this line of thought <G>
