AOL chart looking interesting. Click on the link below and take a look at the chart. Draw two trend lines from the latter portion of June/early July to now. The top trend line is for the upper channel, the lower trend line for the lower channel (with each line connecting as many points as possible on the daily chart). stockconsultant.com Now, I'm no expert in T/A but it seems plausible that AOL may have broken its down trend. As a position trader, I prefer to wait for more confirmation (particulary since intraday flips are totally meaningless with respect to my trading criteria). I must caution though that most net stocks are terribly difficult (for me atleast) to use T/A studies effectively. AOL is better than most, but certainly does give false signals, on the point and figure charts in particular. I have better luck with large liquid tech stocks (NDX stocks) than the nets and certainly don't profess to be an expert in any regard. Hope this helps. Best of luck.
