Thanks for responding. Now we are getting somewhere. I respectfully disagree with you.

As far as I know there are primarily two Digital wireless standards TDMA and CDMA that carriers are deploying and among them CDMA is superior. It took 10 years for CDMA to get established. If a new standard were to come on the scene today it will probably take a long time for it to get established. The next generation seems like it will also be CDMA.
